Directing

Short Film Festival in 2023, and later directed Missing Max as part of the Toronto 48 Hour Film Festival. These early projects established her as a director with a strong instinct for character, pacing, and emotionally grounded storytelling.

In the summer of 2023, Alexandra directed My Own Addiction’s music video Take You Out, a standout project that earned multiple awards for Best Director. The entire video was filmed in just 10 hours and uniquely incorporated an additional short-film narrative with dialogue, highlighting her ability to balance speed, creativity, and performance under pressure.

In early 2024, she directed Nitetime Drive’s music video Awaken, her first project with a skeleton crew, while also navigating evolving client expectations around AI-integrated creative processes. Across both narrative and music-driven work, Alexandra is often described as an actor’s director, with a focus on performance, emotional truth, and authenticity.

Always eager to take on new challenges, Alexandra continues to push her directorial skills forward, seeking projects that demand adaptability, collaboration, and bold creative problem-solving.

Coaching

Alexandra is a multidisciplinary coach working across public speaking, acting, and vocal performance, with a practice rooted in confidence-building and non-judgmental guidance. At the crux of her coaching philosophy is the belief that confidence grows best in spaces where people feel safe to explore, fail, and be seen fully as they are.

Her corporate coaching work began in 2020 with the founding of Melete during the pandemic. At a time when professionals were rapidly transitioning to online platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet, Alexandra supported sales professionals and client-facing teams in translating the impact, presence, and professionalism of in-person pitches to the camera. The focus was not on performance for performance’s sake, but on maintaining clarity, authenticity, and human connection in a digital environment.

This work naturally evolved into acting coaching, though Alexandra continues to offer corporate coaching alongside her creative practice. She began coaching actors in 2022, alongside her directorial debut, and found deep fulfilment in supporting performers through self-tapes and on-set preparation. In 2025, she co-founded 2Atoms with Nick Hunter, a production company and training initiative dedicated to challenging barriers within the Canadian acting industry. Through 2Atoms, Alexandra offers online and in-person coaching, hosts workshops, and works toward the long-term goal of fully sponsoring classes and students so actors can train without the constant burden of financial strain.

Alexandra began private vocal coaching in 2023, working primarily with beginners experiencing stage fright or fear of singing in front of others. Having been told as a child that she “couldn’t sing,” she is deeply motivated to be the coach she once needed — one who creates space for people to find, trust, and reclaim their voices. In late 2025, she signed a teaching contract with Rockstar Music and now teaches both children and adults, continuing her commitment to accessible, confidence-focused vocal training.

Across all disciplines, Alexandra’s coaching is centered on authenticity, encouragement, and sustainable growth — meeting people where they are, and helping them move forward with confidence.
