Alexandra is a lyricist, stageplay writer, and screenwriter whose work spans historical drama, comedy, children’s storytelling, and musical composition. With a growing portfolio of produced and award-recognized projects, she brings a versatile and distinctive voice to screen, stage, and music.
Two of Alexandra’s screenplays have made it to screen, including Extradition, a teaser for the larger anthology Victorian Justice—a five-season television series co-written with non-fiction author Phil Augustine. The series explores prominent Canadian legal cases and the lawyers who shaped them during the Victorian era. Extradition was filmed in the UK in 2023, and the pilot for Victorian Justice has earned awards, finalist, and semi-finalist recognition from festivals including the Cambridge Film Festival, Sunvale Screenplay Contest, Screenwriters & Co, Wildsound, and ReelHeart. While pitching for the series continues, the second season has been adapted into a stageplay currently under consideration by theatres across Canada.
In addition to historical drama, Alexandra continues to write comedy. Since her directorial debut in 2020, she has written numerous comedic scripts and skits and is currently developing a Christmas comedy feature with her production company 2Atoms, scheduled for pitching in early spring 2026.
Alexandra also writes for younger audiences and has completed a children’s musical created to introduce young learners to a range of musical styles and highlight the ways music can enhance daily life. The project combines storytelling, education, and original composition to offer an engaging and uplifting experience for children.
As a lyricist, Alexandra has been writing original lyrics from an early age. My Own Addiction’s debut album features entirely original lyrics written by Alexandra, showcasing her long-standing dedication to musical storytelling.
She is currently developing a children’s book and several new screenplays—and hopes to eventually expand her work into a full-length fictional novel, further broadening the scope of her creative expression.
